Alan Hržica performs on Friday, 30 October, at 8 pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre (HKD) at Sušak in Rijeka, as part of the "Božja ljubav, Božja snaga" (God's Love, God's Strength) tour. A week later, on 7 November, the same tour reaches the Arsenal in Zadar.
Hržica was born in Zagreb in 1978. He has played guitar since the age of eight, played football for Dinamo as a youngster, and struggled with depression and addiction in his teens. He found his way out in faith and has sung only spiritual music ever since. He has released albums such as "Samo za Tebe" (2001), "Nova stvorenja" (2017) and "Pod Tvojim pogledom" (2021), leads a prayer community in Zagreb, and also lent his voice to the animated film "The King of Kings".
The tour covers more than 20 cities in Croatia and abroad, from Makarska and Međugorje to Munich, Graz and Frankfurt. The set list includes "Ješua", "Nova stvorenja", "Golgota", "Aleluja u meni" and the title song "Božja ljubav, Božja snaga", which will also appear on the new album. His songs have millions of views online. How many singers in the region could take songs about faith on a tour of twenty cities?
Tickets start at 21 euros, about 1,290 denars, fees included, on eventim.hr.
