Andrija Dabanović stops in Banja Koviljača with his show "Nezavisan" (Independent) on 19 November at 8 pm, in the "Kralj Aleksandar" (King Alexander) hall of the Kursalon. The comedian who moved from Montenegro to Belgrade, also known from the TV comedy "Reci 8", is taking his new material through smaller Serbian towns this autumn.

The subject is his move and the paradox that comes with it: as soon as he was on his own and "independent", he discovered he depended on far more things than before. From there the show heads toward a harder question - is someone who abstains really free, or just tied differently to whatever he's running from?

Banja Koviljača is a spa town on the Drina, a few kilometres from the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. A spa hall means a smaller crowd and a closer stage, the format in which stand-up usually gains the most.

Tickets cost 1,300 dinars, about 680 denars, on tickets.rs and at Tickets outlets. Before Banja Koviljača, "Independent" also plays Kikinda on 5 November.
