Ane Paška performs her KONCART at Martinska near Šibenik on August 4, 2026, starting at 8 pm. This is not a concert in the usual sense but a form the artist named herself, one that fuses music, text, stage and video.
Ane Paška, whose real name is Ana-Marija Fabijanić, is a performer, musician, dramaturg and illustrator originally from the island of Pag. She graduated in dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2010 and took a master's degree in film and video at the Arts Academy in Split in 2019.
In 2013, together with colleague Marica Grgurinović, she founded the BESA theatre, Croatia's first professional island theatre, based in Vis, producing exclusively original works. From 2014 she devoted herself to original creation, fusing theatre, music, text and video into new performance forms. She published the books „Slikovnica od pidžame” and „JaMajka Drim”, both accompanied by music performances of the same names, and since 2018 she has been performing the music piece „IMPROVIZIJE” across Croatia. Since June 2022 she carries the title of originator of Croatia's EKSTRADA.
What sets her apart is the technical side of the performance: with her eyes closed she handles two instruments at once, keeps precise rhythm, and takes her voice from operatic soprano tone to onomatopoeia beyond the usual vocal range. Martinska is an open-air site near Šibenik. Tickets are 20 euros, roughly 1,232 denars, plus a booking fee, through entrio.hr.
