One of the biggest rock legends of ex-Yugoslavia is getting an extra night in Belgrade. Bajaga i Instruktori play on October 22 in the Blue Hall of Sava Centar - a concert in a hall, different from the stadium spectacles the band is used to, but precisely for that reason more intimate for an audience that knows the songs by heart.

The band was formed in Belgrade in 1984, founded by Momčilo Bajagić Bajaga while he was still the guitarist of the popular Riblja Čorba. What started as a side project quickly grew into one of the biggest names on the Yugoslav rock scene. The albums Sa druge strane jastuka, Jahači magle and Prodavnica tajni delivered a string of hits that still fill halls and stadiums across the region today.

Bajaga's catalogue is practically a collection of songs that became part of the everyday vocabulary of several generations - from Plavi safir with its oriental colours, through 220 u voltima, to Verujem, ne verujem and Život je nekad siv, nekad žut. This isn't nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia; these are songs that still sound fresh, and live they carry even more weight.

The concert at Sava Centar starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are on sale through tickets.rs. For a night where the whole hall sings along with the band, Bajaga i Instruktori remain a safe bet.
