The JazzHR festival returns to Zagreb's BP Club from October 1 to 3. Three nights, six concerts and a programme that puts the local, regional and international scenes on the same stage, in a club with a few dozen tables.

The first night, October 1, belongs to the Ratko Zjaca Trio and Mario Bocic's quartet. On October 2 it is Ivan Kapec and Nhau, the project of Nusa Hauser. The third night, October 3, is closed by Jure Pukl's special trio and Vladimir Kostadinovic's IRIS quintet.

BP Club is no accidental venue: this is the room that shaped the history of Zagreb jazz, and a festival of this format works there precisely because it is small. Six concerts across three nights means two sets a day, a schedule that lets the audience follow all of it instead of picking.

A ticket for a single night costs 25 euros, roughly 1,540 denars, while the festival pass for all three nights is 50 euros or about 3,080 denars. That is one of the better deals in Zagreb's autumn programme: three nights for the price of two single club shows. Tickets are available through entrio.hr.
