Bebe, the Spanish pop-flamenco singer and one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary Iberian music, comes to Plovdiv on June 14, 2026. The concert will take place at the Summer Theatre, as part of her Balkan tour with four dates in Bulgaria - alongside Plovdiv (June 14) and Burgas (June 15), she also plays Varna (June 12) and Sofia's Maymunarnika (June 17).
Maria Nieves Rebolledo Vila, who performs as Bebe, rose to fame in 2004 with the debut album Pafuera Telaranas and the hit Malo - one of the most-played Spanish-language singles of the year. The same album earned her the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005. With five studio albums, the most recent being Y. (2022), she is one of the key figures in contemporary Spanish pop. Beyond music, she is also an activist against domestic violence and for women's rights in Spain.
The tour setlist covers Malo, Ella, Siempre Me Quedara, Quiero Ser Como Tu and material from Y. - a record with more slow, reflective songs. Her style is defined by a blend of acoustic pop, flamenco guitar and socially conscious lyrics. The Plovdiv Summer Theatre is one of the loveliest open-air stages in Bulgaria, with a capacity of over 2,000.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 80 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Sunday, June 14, 2026. For Macedonian fans of Spanish pop-flamenco, this is one of the key dates in the neighbourhood this summer.
