The concert by Miodrag Jovanović and Darinka Paunović is on August 5 at the Residence of Princess Ljubica in Belgrade, as part of the thirty-third BELEF. The ticket is 500 dinars through tickets.rs, and the start is at 8.30 pm.

The Belgrade Summer Festival runs this year from June 20 to September 22 and has over forty programmes at several locations across the city. A significant part of the schedule sits in the Residence of Princess Ljubica and the Youth Centre, with tickets that rarely go above 500 dinars and are often free.

The Residence is a nineteenth-century house, built for the wife of Prince Miloš Obrenović and today a museum in the old part of Belgrade. The summer programme there is chamber-scale by nature, with a small number of chairs and none of the PA gear the big stages demand. For chamber concerts that is an advantage, not a limitation.

What BELEF does well is that it does not try to be a festival built around one big name. Instead, the schedule across three months offers monodramas, chamber concerts, plays and children's programmes, at prices that exclude nobody. That is a model of city festival you meet ever more rarely in the region.

Sales go through tickets.rs, at 500 dinars, which is around 260 denars.
