On September 26, the small stage of Vidas Art Arena in Sofia turns into a dark fairy tale - the Dutch symphonic and gothic metal act Blackbriar arrives in Bulgaria as part of the European „A Thousand Little Deaths" tour. For regional gothic metal fans, this is the closest point where the band stops on its way across Europe.
Blackbriar was formed in 2012 in the town of Assen, led by singer and songwriter Zora Cock, whose voice is the band's trademark. The group builds a recognisable sound at the crossroads of symphonic and gothic metal, wrapped in an aesthetic of dark fairy tales about love, loss and death. The third studio album „A Thousand Little Deaths", released in August 2025 via Nuclear Blast, widened their reputation as one of the most intriguing voices of the genre's new generation - ten songs the critics praised as lush and cinematic.
The Sofia concert is part of the second European leg of the tour, titled „The Anemones Chapter". That means a full stage production with the kind of visual dramaturgy the band cultivates - not just a concert, but a theatrical performance in which music and stage design tell a shared story. Zora Cock and her team bring exactly that atmosphere to the small stage of Vidas Art Arena.
Tickets are available through bilet.bg and Ticket Station, and official VIP packages through blackbriarmusic.com. For Macedonian and regional fans of symphonic metal, Sofia is the most accessible destination for this tour.
