More than 1,100 runners at "ČE TRČAME" in Prilep - and the mayor has already invited them back for 2027

More than 1,100 people ran in this year's edition of the "ČE TRČAME" sports event in Prilep. Mayor Dejan Prodanoski congratulated the participants and organisers, saying the event took place in an atmosphere of sporting spirit, positive energy and togetherness.

"More than 1,100 participants were part of this wonderful sporting story today, confirming that Prilep is a city with a big sporting heart and a strong competitive spirit," Prodanoski said. He singled out the large number of children and young people taking part, stressing that events like this help them pick up healthy habits and develop a love of sport.

The mayor thanked the organisers, volunteers, sponsors and institutions, and announced that support for sporting events will continue. "Let's keep creating beautiful stories together! See you at ČE TRČAME 2027!" he said.

More than a thousand people out on the streets of Prilep for a race is news worth noting. The next step is for sport to stop being a once-a-year event and become an everyday thing for the kids who ran today.
