Dara Ekimova sings in Burgas on August 21, 2026 at HashtagPAVILION. The show is a summer concert on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, at a time when Burgas is among the most visited cities in the country.
Dara was born on June 25, 2002 in Sofia, into a musical family. Her mother is Iva Ekimova, and her father Dimitar Ekimov-Dimi was the frontman of the group „Sleng”. She has been singing since the age of two, and at five became part of the music formation „Bon-Bon”. She was trained vocally by Lili Mihaylova, and alongside that studied solfège, piano and folk dance.
The story behind her carries a hard side too. Her father died in a motorcycle accident on the „Hemus” motorway in 2008, only hours before her sixth birthday celebration. Since then she has lived alone with her mother. Seven years later she recorded a remix of the song „Sinyo”, dedicated to him. At the „X Factor” casting in 2013 she could not continue because of the age limit, and in 2015 she took part in the national selection for Junior Eurovision.
Tickets range from 39.12 to 68.45 leva through bilet.bg, which in denars is roughly 1,232 to 2,156. The concert starts at 8 pm. It is important to distinguish her from Dara the Eurovision winner, whose real name is Darina Yotova, because the two singers are often confused due to the same stage name.
