Dave Clarke, Ben Sims and Billy Nasty open the new season at the Boogaloo club in Zagreb on September 26, 2026, as part of the Future Scope event. Three names from the same generation of British techno at one booth is a set-up you rarely meet outside festival programmes.

David Morris Clarke was born on September 19, 1968, grew up in Brighton and today lives in Amsterdam. The title „Baron of Techno” was given to him by BBC radio host John Peel, and it stuck for good. He started his career as a hip-hop DJ in the mid-eighties, then moved into acid house and towards the end of the decade into rave. The series of three twelve-inch records titled „Red 1/2/3” brought him his breakthrough between 1993 and 1996, with the last of them entering the British top forty. His sets run the line between techno and electro, and the hip-hop root is audible in the way he mixes records.

Billy Nasty, real name William Nastri, is a British techno and electro DJ and holder of the Guinness World Record for the first commercially released DJ mix. His first residency was at the Brain club in London in 1990. Ben Sims is the third name of the evening, and Clarke and his collaborators have remixed his releases, which shows this is the same core of the scene rather than a randomly assembled bill.

Tickets are 20 euros, roughly 1,232 denars, plus a booking fee, sold through entrio.hr. For an evening with three DJs of this rank, that is a price that does not exist in Western European cities.
