Athens rock band Deaf Radio play KOTUR in Skopje on Wednesday, 21 October, from 9 p.m. Skopje is part of the tour on which the band is promoting its new album "Shelter", released on 4 September this year.

Deaf Radio formed in Athens in 2015 and play guitar-driven alternative rock that Time Out compared to early Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss. Their debut album "Alarm" came out in 2017, followed by "Modern Panic" in 2019 and "Arsenal of Hope" in 2022. The band has shared a stage with The Kills and Planet of Zeus, and their list of support slots also includes The Killers and Clutch.

"Shelter" has eight songs, including "Transmitter", "Idling", "Levitate" and "Big Mistakes", and the tour is named after it. It takes the band through Sofia, Thessaloniki, Budapest and Jena, and the Skopje show is organised together with Skopsko Smut.

KOTUR, at 7 Nikola Vaptsarov street, is a small club space, which for a band that lives on loud guitars means an audience a metre from the amps. A ticket costs 300 denars via tix.mk.
