Death to All in Sofia on June 12 - A Tribute to Death and Chuck Schuldiner With Original Members at Joy Station

Death to All, the tribute project to legendary death-metal band Death and its founder Chuck Schuldiner, plays Joy Station in Sofia on June 12. The concert marks the anniversaries of two of the most important albums in the band's history, „Spiritual Healing“ (35 years) and „Symbolic“ (30 years).

Death, founded by Chuck Schuldiner, is considered one of the bands that defined death metal as a genre, and after his death in 2001 former members have carried the legacy forward through the Death to All project. These are musicians who actually played on those records or alongside Schuldiner, which gives these shows a weight that ordinary tribute nights simply don't have.

The Sofia lineup features original and close collaborators of Death: legendary drummer Gene Hoglan (Dark Angel, Dethklok), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Testament, Sadus) and guitarist Bobby Koelble, who played on „Symbolic“, alongside vocalist and guitarist Max Phelps (Exist, ex-Cynic). The focus of the night is precisely on „Spiritual Healing“ from 1990 and „Symbolic“ from 1995.

The concert is on Friday, June 12, starting at 19:30 at Joy Station in Sofia. Tickets range from roughly 31 to 36 euros and are on sale through bilet.bg. For Macedonian metal fans, Sofia is just a few hours' drive away.
