Deep Dish play the Boogaloo club in Zagreb on November 21, 2026. For the house scene that is a name that survived every shift in fashion from the nineties to today, and never agreed to be only one genre.

Deep Dish is an American electronic duo made up of two Iranian-American artists: Ali Shirazinia, known as Dubfire, and Sharam Tayebi. They met at a local party in Washington in 1991 and formed the duo in 1992. The breakthrough came with the remix of De'Lacy's „Hideaway” in 1995, after which they became some of the most sought-after remixers in the industry, working for Madonna, Janet Jackson and Cher. They won the Grammy in the best remixed recording category for their 2002 version of Dido's „Thank You”.

What set Deep Dish apart at a time when electronic music had been reduced to rave culture was their balance. They sat on the line between house and techno, but with a pop sensibility that made their records listenable outside the club too. The debut album „Junk Science” confirmed them as people who set the direction rather than follow it. After fifteen years together the duo split in 2006 and both built strong solo careers, before reuniting in 2014.

Boogaloo is a club, not an arena, and that is exactly what makes this date interesting: a duo that plays the world's biggest festivals is this time working in a room where the audience stands a few metres from the booth. Tickets range from 20 to 50 euros, roughly 1,232 to 3,080 denars, sold through entrio.hr.
