The Rijeka party Disco Revival returns to the club Exportdrvo on October 9 to celebrate its third birthday. There is a reason to celebrate: the last edition sold out Trsat Castle, the fortress above Rijeka where the party guested in the city's summer programme.
The concept hasn't changed since the first night. Disco and dance hits from the eighties and nineties, a packed floor and a crowd that knows where people went out before streaming. The organisers say openly that this is not a night for new hits you still have to learn, but for songs everyone knows by heart. DJ Tomi is in charge of the music, with a set built from the biggest hits of the era.
The outfit recommendation is clear and seems serious: flares, leather jackets, sequins, neon and old-school sneakers. There are also table reservations, with a minimum of two bottles of wine or one bottle of spirits per table. How many other club concepts in the region have lasted three years without changing their repertoire?
Doors at 21:00. The first 50 tickets went for 10 euros, about 616 denars, and are sold out, as are the early ones at 12 euros. Regular tickets now cost 14 euros, about 862 denars, on entrio.hr, and physical tickets are also available at Dallas Music Shop, Petrol petrol stations, Tisak on the Korzo and Getaldus in Rijeka and Opatija. Table reservations on +385 91 385 1017.
