Jazz in its most authentic club format gets an evening in Belgrade. The Đorđe Kujundžić Quartet performs on July 23 at the Bluz i Pivo club - an intimate summer evening for those who love jazz live, close to the stage, without pomp and without distance.
Đorđe Kujundžić is a saxophonist whose quartet carries exactly that chamber jazz energy that clubs like Bluz i Pivo make special. The lineup is completed by Dušan Petrović on guitar, Anamarija Ilić on double bass and Nikola Banović on drums - a setup tailored for mutual interaction and improvisation, the heart of every good jazz performance.
What evenings like this offer is something the big halls cannot - immediacy. The audience is close enough to hear every breath of the instrument, and the musicians play for one another as much as for the crowd. This is jazz in its natural habitat, the way it was born in small clubs, not in concert halls.
The set at Bluz i Pivo starts at 8 PM, and tickets are available through tickets.rs, priced around 420 dinars. For a summer evening of authentic jazz in an intimate setting, the Kujundžić quartet offers exactly that atmosphere.
