Edo Maajka plays Bistro and night bar Dijana in Trnovec, near Varaždin, on November 21 at 9 p.m. The concert is one of the highlights of Dijana's autumn-winter programme, which brings a number of well-known domestic and regional performers to the village.

Edo Maajka is Edin Osmić, born in Brčko in 1978. In 1992, when the war started in Bosnia, he moved to Zagreb, where he later built his career. He has seven studio albums, from "Slušaj mater" (2002) to "Moćno" (2022), and among his best-known songs are "Znaš me", "To mora da je ljubav" and "Bomba", which also turned up in the American series "Sleeper Cell". He won a Porin for best new artist in 2003 and several Davorin awards, including three for album of the year.

Trnovec is not Šalata, where Edo Maajka is booked for a big concert in June 2027, but that's exactly what makes it interesting. A club space, an audience close to the stage, and a rapper who works best when he can look the crowd in the eye. Are small places the real stage for this kind of hip-hop? In Međimurje they'll answer that on the spot.

Presale tickets cost 17 euros (about 1,047 denars) plus fees and are sold via entrio.hr. Trnovec is in northern Croatia, near Varaždin.
