Enis Beslagic brings his own solo show "Da sam ja neko" ("If I Were Somebody") to Trsat Castle in Rijeka. On Friday, July 31, 2026, in the setting of Nugent Park above the city, the Bosnian actor performs a show that fills every hall it plays, starting at 9 p.m. and running around two hours.

Beslagic, born in Doboj in 1975, is one of the most recognisable names of the Balkan acting scene. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo and has more than thirty roles in theatre, film and television behind him. "If I Were Somebody" is not stand-up in the classic sense - it is an autobiographical confession, a personal story told honestly, with humour but also with emotion, about love, hope and ordinary human life.

That very honesty is why the show travels from city to city and draws the same interest everywhere. Instead of ready-made jokes, Beslagic offers himself - his falls, fears and observations, in a form the audience recognises as its own. The success is such that the show is booked for September on the stage of the Sydney Opera House, which will be the first time a dramatic artist from this region performs there.

Trsat Castle, with a view over Rijeka and the Kvarner, is one of the finest places for an evening like this. Tickets are on sale via eventim.hr, with prices starting at around 39 euros.
