Godsmack return to Belgrade. The American hard rock outfit from Boston play Luka Beograd on July 26, as part of the Rise of Rock World Tour 2026, and tickets start at 5,500 dinars through tickets.rs. The start is set for 8 pm.

The numbers behind the band are what rarely gets said when a concert like this is announced: nine studio albums, twenty million records sold worldwide, several Grammy nominations and a Billboard award for rock artist of the year. Godsmack formed in 1995 around Sully Erna and bassist Robbie Merrill, and broke through with relentless touring and singles like Bulletproof, Under Your Scars and When Legends Rise. They are not a band that leans on one hit but on three decades on stage.

This year carries its own weight for them. It marks twenty-five years since Awake, the second album that pushed them to the top of hard rock, and in May came Live at Mohegan Sun, a live record made at the sold-out show in Connecticut in October 2024. That was also the last night with long-standing members Tony Rombola on guitar and Shannon Larkin on drums. Since then Erna and Merrill have continued with a new line-up, with Sam Coltun on guitar and Wade Murff on drums, which means the Belgrade audience will hear a band in transformation, not an archival version of itself.

In 2022 Erna said Lighting Up the Sky would be the band's last album. Now he says there will be new music after all. Between those two statements sits this entire tour, which gives the night at Luka Beograd something more than a routine stop. Which band, after thirty years, loses half its line-up and decides not to stop?
