On August 6, the Summer Stage in Opatija hosts one of the great jazz voices of our time - Gregory Porter arrives with his band on the enchanting open-air Opatija stage. For a Macedonian and regional audience that rarely gets a jazz star of this calibre within reach, this is an event worth the trip to the northern Adriatic.

Gregory Porter is an American singer known for his warm baritone and powerful delivery, blending jazz, soul and gospel. He has won two Grammy Awards and gathered eight nominations in total, while songs like „Liquid Spirit", „Hey Laura" and „Holding On" made him one of the most recognisable names on the contemporary scene. His voice and stage presence have earned him a reputation as a performer who turns every evening into an emotional journey, far from a technical recital.

The Opatija concert is organised by the Zagreb Jazz Festival and Večernji list - the same partners who previously staged a sold-out show with Porter and the Zagreb Philharmonic. That means a top-level production, with a full band and a programme covering his biggest hits in arrangements tailored to a summer stage by the sea.
