The music of Hans Zimmer in concert performance comes to Plovdiv on May 26, 2026. The show takes place at the Kolodrum multifunctional sports hall, as part of a tour that continues in Sofia on May 27 and at the Skopje Philharmonic on May 31.
The programme covers key parts of Zimmer's most recognisable film scores - the German composer who wrote the music for Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Inception, Dune and Last Samurai. With two Academy Awards, four Grammys and more than 150 film and television projects behind him, Zimmer is one of the defining names in modern film music.
The live performance is a production by Original Films and includes a full symphony orchestra, choir and soloists, with large projections from the films synchronised to the music. The set covers Now We Are Free from Gladiator, S.T.A.Y. from Interstellar, Time from Inception, The Dark Knight theme, and material from the two-part Dune (especially the dominant Paul Atreides theme). Kolodrum is one of Bulgaria's newest large concert venues, fit for acoustic symphonic shows.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 62 leva. The concert begins at 20:00 on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. For Macedonian fans of film music, the same concert runs at the Skopje Philharmonic on May 31, and at NDK in Sofia on May 27.
