Hari Mata Hari performs on Saturday, November 14, from 20:00, at the Cultural Centre in Čačak. The concert is part of the tour marking his 40 years on stage, under the motto "40 years of music, love and emotion".
Hajrudin Hari Varešanović from Sarajevo started his career in 1985 and, according to the Serbian press, has sold around five million albums. His ballads are among the best-known love songs of the former Yugoslavia. In 2006 he represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at Eurovision in Athens with "Lejla" and finished third, which is still Bosnia and Herzegovina's best result in the contest.
The jubilee tour opened with three concerts in the Blue Hall of Sava Centar in March, continued in Kragujevac on June 5 and in Niš on June 7, with a concert in Novi Sad announced for October 17.
Tickets start at 3,500 dinars (about 1,840 denars) and are on sale at tickets.rs. Forty years on, Hari fills halls in both Zagreb and Belgrade - and in the Balkans, that is no small thing.
