Hayes & Y return to their native Sofia with their first solo concert since the single "HOW COULD YOU?!?". The Bulgarian-Finnish indie band plays Pirotska 5 Event Center on December 29, 2026, at the invitation of Fest Team.

The band was founded by Blagoslav Anastasov (vocals and guitar), Ivaylo Delev (bass) and Radoslav Lozanski (guitar), friends since high school. The band gradually became one of the most successful indie rock names in Bulgaria, and in 2015 opened for Kasabian at Spirit of Burgas. In 2016 they moved to the UK, where they met drummer Denis Holbek, a Finn. That's where the unusual Bulgarian-Finnish combination comes from.

Since then their music has been played on BBC 6 Music, KEXP and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and they have performed at the ESNS forum in the Netherlands. In 2022 they played Summer Well in Romania alongside Arctic Monkeys, Jungle and Nothing But Thieves and released their debut album "Press. Go. Move. Slow.". The second album, "Departures", came out in April 2025 with ten songs and became their most successful release, with more than seven million streams on Spotify. That same year they played Primavera Sound in Barcelona and InMusic in Zagreb.

Macedonian audiences may remember them from the PIN festival, one of the shows the organiser itself lists. A band that broke through in Britain and comes home for the end of the year instead of yet another foreign stage says something about where they feel their core is.

Tickets are sold through the Ticket Station network at 15 to 25 euros, roughly 924 to 1,540 denars. The concert is in Sofia just a few days before New Year, which makes it a good excuse for a holiday trip to the Bulgarian capital.
