Aries

Aries will be handed a task today that is not theirs - somebody above them will push it down in a tone suggesting this is perfectly normal. The first instinct will be to take it so as not to cause trouble. Ask how much time there is for it and what drops off the list in its place. The person who always accepts one more thing without a word is not remembered as hard-working, but as available.

Taurus

Taurus will realise today that a friend has spent weeks waiting for them to make the first call. There is no anger, just a silence that keeps growing. Call tonight without counting whose turn it was last. Friendships do not break from a big argument so much as from two people each waiting for the other to show they still care.

Gemini

Gemini will see today what all those small monthly subscriptions cost, the ones they pay for and never use. Gather them in one place and look at the total calmly. Half of them you do not need, and the other half you pay for only because cancelling takes three clicks more than renewing. That is not a bad habit, it is a well-designed system working against you.

Cancer

Cancer will catch themselves reaching for the phone today before their eyes are properly open. Do not start the day inside somebody else's life. Get up, drink water, look out of a window for ten minutes before any screen. The morning you hand over to an algorithm never gives back the mood it takes from you.

Leo

Leo will sit at a table today where a family member reopens the subject everyone avoids. There will be an urge to cut it off with a joke or with volume. Do neither. Listen to the end, then say what you think quietly, without an audience - because in a family, whoever ends a conversation loudest usually carries it longest afterwards.

Virgo

Virgo will have no real problem today and will still be in a sour mood all morning. Do not go looking for a cause that does not exist. On some days the mood comes from sleep, from the heat, from nothing at all - and it does not mean something is falling apart. Do not make decisions about big things today; a sour morning is a bad adviser, not a prophet.

Libra

Libra will have to say today where their work ends and somebody else's begins. Out of habit they will choose not to draw that line, so as not to seem petty. Draw it today, calmly and out loud. Work without a clear boundary does not get shared more fairly, it just quietly sticks to whoever does not object.

Scorpio

Scorpio will stumble across an old message or photo today from someone with whom all accounts are settled. There will be a pull backwards, as if something remains unproven. It does not. A closed chapter is reread only as proof of how far you have come - not as an invitation to go back there.

Sagittarius

Someone will show Sagittarius today that they want to stay longer, not just pass through. And precisely that will tighten their chest more than any obstacle could. Do not turn every door into a window. The freedom you talk about is not lost because somebody stayed; it is lost because every time somebody stays, you are already looking towards the exit.

Capricorn

Capricorn will spend a fourth day in a row today without moving further than the walk to the car. The body will say so through the neck and through sleep. Go out on foot for half an hour, no headphones and no destination. The work will still be waiting tonight; the thing you keep postponing is the only one that cannot be postponed.

Aquarius

Aquarius will be in company today where everyone agrees on something they do not agree with. They will stay quiet so as not to be the spoiler again. Say it once, briefly, and do not defend it afterwards. Company in which you are not allowed to think differently is not company, it is an audience.

Pisces

Pisces will start building a plan in their head today for something a year away - where they will live, what they will do, how it will feel by then. It is nice over there. Just come back tonight and write down one thing that can be done this week. A future dreamed out in detail with not a single step taken today is not a plan - it is escape with better decor.
