Ishtar Alabina, the Israeli-Egyptian singer and one of the most recognisable voices of the Arabic-fusion and flamenco-Arabic genres, comes to Burgas on June 4, 2026. The concert will take place at the Summer Theatre, a day after the Plovdiv show, as part of her 30 Years on Stage anniversary tour.
Alabina rose to fame in 1996 with Habibi Ya Nour El Ain, performed with the French-Egyptian band Les Gipsy Kings - one of the most-played world-music singles of the nineties. With five languages in her repertoire (Arabic, Hebrew, French, Spanish, English), 12 studio albums and over six million records sold, she is one of the most successful Arabic-speaking singers on the Western scene. She has worked with Bob Sinclar and the French producers who shaped the Buddha Bar sound of the 2000s.
The anniversary setlist covers Habibi Ya Nour El Ain, Bom Bom Bom, Camina, Last Kiss and material from her latest album, with a Romani backing band that brings a flamenco accent to the orchestration. The Burgas Summer Theatre is one of the loveliest summer stages on the Black Sea coast, with a capacity of over 2,500 and a layout facing the sea.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 70 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Burgas is Bulgaria's largest Black Sea city and an attractive summer destination in its own right. For Macedonian fans of Arabic-fusion, this is a good chance to combine a concert with a short break on the Black Sea coast.
