Ivan Bosiljčić brings his own project "Naše veče" to Zastavina bašta in Kragujevac on 12 September from 8 pm. It is not a standard concert - the programme mixes singing, poetry and dramatic performance into one evening.
Bosiljčić is primarily an actor, but music was his first profession. In his native Užice he sang in the rock band "Rok apoteka", then turned to acting, mostly in musicals, as a permanent member of the Terazije Theatre. That is a rare combination in the Balkans - a man who both acts and sings professionally - and "Naše veče" is precisely the project that joins the two.
The show premiered in 2021 and over five theatre seasons more than 100,000 people have seen it. When the programme came to the mts hall in Belgrade, Bosiljčić booked three nights, a record for that venue for a project of this kind, and all three sold out fast. The material consists of the best-known film and theatre melodies from the region, threaded through with poetry by canonical authors.
After the Belgrade dates, Kragujevac is the programme's next stop. Tickets are around 1,316 denars through tickets.rs, and it starts at 8 pm at Zastavina bašta.
