Ivo Dimchev and his band play HashtagPavilion in Burgas on November 13, 2026. According to organiser Fest Team, it's his last concert in Bulgaria this year and his first after appearing at WOMEX 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, one of the most important professional forums for world music.
Dimchev is a Bulgarian artist working on the border between theatre, choreography, visual art and music. He earned a master's at the DASarts academy in Amsterdam, opened the Volksroom space for young international artists in Brussels, and in 2014 founded the independent space MOZEI in Sofia. The Humarts foundation is his too. His performances have been staged at venues such as the Wiener Festwochen and New York's La MaMa.
For him, music isn't an add-on to performance. He has more than a hundred original songs collected in his own Songbook. During the pandemic he gave more than four hundred private concerts in people's homes in Bulgaria, Istanbul, New York and Los Angeles, and The New Yorker devoted a whole profile to him. When an artist has sung in a stranger's living room four hundred times, a club audience probably can't surprise him anymore.
The Burgas date is the second on the autumn Bulgarian route: it is preceded by the concert in Varna on October 1 at The Brick Port, after the summer shows and his appearance at Sziget in Budapest. In Burgas Dimchev comes out with a full band, in a format he calls Live.
Tickets are sold through the Ticket Station network, and concert details are published on festteam.bg. For audiences from Macedonia it's a chance to see him outside a festival programme, in a hall where there's nowhere to hide.
