Jamie Woon, the British singer-songwriter known for fusing soul, electronica and atmospheric pop, performs in Zagreb on September 18. For lovers of refined, emotive music this is a rare visit by one of the most respected voices on the contemporary British scene.
Woon made his name with his 2011 debut album "Mirrorwriting" and the single "Night Air", which established him as one of the freshest names in British neo-soul. His deep, warm vocal and minimalist, electronically tinged arrangements set him apart from standard pop, and songs like "Lady Luck" brought him international recognition and a loyal audience.
After a few years' break, Woon returned with material that kept the same recognisable sound - intimate, atmospheric and emotive. His performances are known for a near-hypnotic atmosphere in which the voice and the production take the foreground, making them ideal for focused listening in an intimate space.
Tickets are available via ulaznice.hr. The concert is in Zagreb, in the evening hours.
