The Zagreb collective Jeboton celebrates its 15th anniversary on December 11 and 12 with a two-day fešta at the Boogaloo club. Over two nights, on two stages, 14 acts will perform, with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Jeboton was founded in 2011 as a collective of bands bound by friendship, mutual support and the do-it-yourself principle. Their first joint free festival was held right at Boogaloo, on July 14 of that year. Fifteen years later the same club gets the birthday party, which says plenty about how tied this scene is to its places.
Confirmed so far are Jeboton Ansambl, IDEM, Pokle, Tandara and Mitsko biće, with more names still to be announced. The organiser is Dostava zvuka, the crew behind the collective. At a time when festivals are measured in sponsors and headliners, this is a party where the main star is the community itself.
Early tickets cost 25 euros (about 1,540 denars) plus fees, sold via entrio.hr. Children under 10 accompanied by a parent get in free, and entry is also free for people with disabilities. Boogaloo is in Zagreb, Croatia.
