Jelena Rozga, one of the biggest pop stars of the Croatian and regional scene, performs on August 7 at the summer cinema in Makarska. The singer whose voice has been synonymous with Croatian pop for decades brings an open-air concert to the Adriatic.
Rozga rose to fame in 1996 when she became the lead singer of the cult group Magazin, one of the best-known pop bands of the former Yugoslavia. As Magazin's frontwoman she released five studio albums and established herself as one of the central names of the regional pop scene. In 2006 she went solo with the album "Oprosti mala", which was a major commercial and critical success and confirmed her as a star in her own right.
Since then Rozga has been among the most popular Croatian singers, with a string of hits sung at every celebration in the region. Her concerts are genuine pop spectacles - energetic, with recognisable songs the audience knows by heart and a stage performance that has kept her at the very top of the Croatian pop scene for more than two decades.
Tickets are available via mojekarte.hr. The concert is at the summer cinema in Makarska, in the evening hours.
