Kamelot in Sofia on June 7 - the American Symphonic Power-Metal Stars From Tampa at JOY Station

Kamelot vo Sofija na 7 juni

Kamelot, one of the most recognisable names in symphonic power-metal, comes to Sofia on June 7, 2026. The show will take place at JOY Station, as part of their world tour.

The band was formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1991 by guitarist Thomas Youngblood. The band's signature style - a blend of power-metal riffs, orchestral arrangements, operatic vocals and frequent concept albums - became one of the defining sounds of the genre in the 2000s. The albums Karma, Epica, The Black Halo and Silverthorn are considered classics. With 13 studio albums and over four million records sold, they have a cult status, especially in Europe and Japan. The current lead vocalist is Tommy Karevik, who joined in 2011 after the departure of original singer Roy Khan.

The current tour's setlist includes the hits Forever, March of Mephisto, Karma, Center of the Universe and material from the latest album The Awakening. Kamelot's concerts are known as big productions with full stage setups, female guest vocals and elaborate lighting design. JOY Station is a club with a capacity of about 1,500 in the northern part of Sofia.

Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 80 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Sunday, June 7, 2026. For Macedonian fans of symphonic and power metal, this is one of the central options in the neighbourhood this summer.
