Kerana i Kosmonavtite return to Sofia's Maymunarnika stage in Borisova gradina on September 16, 2026. It is the band's second date on the Bulgarian coast and in the capital in a short span, following the August show in Lozenets.

The group formed in 2017 in Plovdiv and is fronted by Yuliya Yordanova, a singer, composer and actress who performs under the name Kerana. Their sound is not straight rock but mixes funk, jazz and pop inside the same track, which is why they turn up on alternative and pop bills alike.

Success came quickly. The debut album "Урса Майнор" placed them among the most-listened-to Bulgarian rock groups, and they won the audience over primarily through their lyrics and through playing expressively live, with arrangements that refuse the usual structure. This is a band whose reputation was built in the room, not through radio rotation.

Maymunarnika is a summer stage set inside Borisova gradina, Sofia's largest park. The end of September is also the end of the season for that stage, which makes this concert one of the last open-air shows in the city before the indoor halls take over the programme.

Tickets run from fifteen to twenty euros, roughly 920 to 1,230 denars, bought through bilet.bg. Doors at 19:00. For readers who want to hear where contemporary Bulgarian alternative music is heading rather than read it described, this is the direct route.
