Kosheen, one of the most recognisable names on the British drum and bass and electronic scene of the early 2000s, comes to the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv on August 7, 2026. The concert is part of their summer tour, which also includes Sofia's Maymunarnika.
The band was formed in Bristol in 1999 by producers Markee Morrison, Steve Gurand and Darren Beale, together with lead vocalist Sian Evans. The hits Catch (2001), Hide U (2001), All in My Head (2002) and Hungry (2003) made them one of the key names of the British dnb-pop crossover. With four studio albums and an estimated 1.5 million records sold, they were a major influence on the genre before a pause in the 2010s. They have returned with new material in recent years.
The setlist covers all the major hits, with Sian Evans on lead vocals. The Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis, with a capacity of 3,500, is one of the most striking summer stages in the Balkans - with excellent acoustics for electronic and drum and bass performance.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 32 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Friday, August 7, 2026. Plovdiv is easy to reach from Skopje by car or bus. For Macedonian fans of British dnb from the 2000s, this is one of the key dates in the neighbourhood this summer.
