Two thrash legends, Germany's Kreator and America's Overkill, come together to Belgrade on November 25 at the Hangar at the Port of Belgrade. For the metal scene in the Balkans this is one of the biggest evenings of the year - two of the most important names of the genre on the same stage, as part of the world tour "Krushers of the World".
Kreator, founded in Essen in 1982, is one of the "big Teutonic four" of German thrash metal, together with Sodom, Destruction and Tankard. With albums like "Pleasure to Kill", "Coma of Souls" and newer releases that regularly enter the German charts, Mille Petrozza's band has held the top of European extreme metal for forty years. The latest album "Krushers of the World" came out in January 2026 and it is precisely what carries this tour.
Overkill from New Jersey are their guests - and guests with headliner weight. Active since the early eighties, with their trademark lollipop logo and the voice of Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth, they are one of the most enduring names of American thrash, with nearly twenty studio albums behind them. The combination of the two bands means almost three hours of flawless thrash, speed and energy that only this genre can offer.
Tickets run from around 2,470 denars and are available via tickets.rs. The concert is at the Hangar at the Port of Belgrade, a venue that has in recent years become a regular destination for the biggest metal shows in the region.
