Kruševac Geto perform their new show "Samo nek ide redom" ("Just Keep It in Order") at Akademija 28 in Belgrade on October 17 from 8 p.m. It's a tragicomedy about family quarrels, woes and greed.
Kruševac Geto was founded by Nikola Trišić Triša and Nikola Milenković Čami in February 2011, while they were studying in Belgrade. They started as a rap duo dealing with provincial themes in a witty way, then moved on to stand-up and sketches online, and grew from that into a theatre troupe. Audiences also know them from the show "Kraljica Snežana Prva".
The plot: the death of grandpa Svetislav Tavčer is the only thing that brings his three grandsons together in one place. During the wake each of them complains about his own past and future and argues why he, above all, deserves a place in the rich will. The cast includes Đorđe Stojković, Nikola Milenković, Nikola Trišić, who also wrote the text, and Nemanja Janičić as the lawyer. The staging is shaped by choreographer Jelena Ilkić. The three grandsons are only united when they're against each other - who in the Balkans hasn't sat through a family split like that?
Tickets are 1,600 dinars via tickets.rs.
