Kultur Shock, the cult band that fuses Balkan folk with punk, metal and art rock, will perform at Nova Zappa Barka in Belgrade on April 16, 2026. The concert begins at 21:00.

The band was founded in 1996 in Seattle by Bosnian musician Gino Srdjan Yevdjevich, who emigrated from besieged Sarajevo in the mid-1990s. Members come from Bosnia, Bulgaria, Indonesia and the USA, and American music critics describe their sound as "balkan punk rock gypsy metal wedding-meets-riot music". With 13 released albums and more than 1,500 concerts across the USA and Europe, Kultur Shock are among the most active bands on the world music scene.

The band has shared stages with Gogol Bordello, Iggy Pop, The Wailers and Joan Baez, and was signed to KoolArrow Records by Faith No More bassist Bill Gould. Their albums "Fucc the INS", "Kultura-Diktatura" and "We Came to Take Your Jobs Away" are genre classics.

Tickets are available through tickets.rs at prices from 2,200 RSD (approximately 1,160 denars).
