Leena presents the new instalment of the "Sequence" series at Sofia's Toplocentrala on September 19, 2026. The event is an album launch and starts at 20:30.
Leena is one of the fastest-rising names on the Bulgarian R&B scene. Her material sits between neo-soul and modern R&B, and she names Sabrina Claudio, FKA Twigs and Snoh Aalegra as influences. She trained in Britain, which partly explains why her recordings sound closer to London production than to anything Balkan.
Her debut album "Labyrinth of the Subconscious" came out in 2022 and landed on TIDAL and Apple Music playlists, on Sofar Sounds Global and on Soho Radio, and was distributed on vinyl worldwide through Fat Beats. For a Bulgarian artist from the alternative side of the scene, that is serious reach.
The "Sequence" series is her collaboration with producer Kamen, whom she met while they were both studying in Britain. "Sequence 01" was released in 2020, and the follow-up "Sequence 02" on November 10, 2022. The Sofia concert closes the trilogy.
Toplocentrala is a former industrial building in Sofia converted into a space for contemporary performance, which for this kind of material means a very different acoustic from a club. Tickets run from twenty to twenty-five euros, roughly 1,230 to 1,540 denars, through bilet.bg.
