Split's Magazin opens the season at Zagreb's Klub Roko on October 2. The show starts at 11 p.m., and on stage will be Lorena Bućan, the singer who took over as lead vocalist in November 2024.

Magazin has been active since 1979 and is one of the few bands from the former Yugoslavia that has survived every twist of the pop scene. The reason is simple: the singers change, the songs stay. In 1996 Jelena Rozga replaced Danijela Martinović, recording five studio albums with the group and hits like "Ginem" and "Minut' srca tvog". After her came Ivana Kovač, daughter of Mišo Kovač, and then Andrea Šušnjara, who stayed for a full 14 years.

Lorena Bućan began her chapter with the single "Nesvjestica", and in 2025 the band entered "Dora" with the song "AaAaA". "Voljela sam" and the ballad "Kao žena ženi" followed, written by the Huljić songwriting duo. How many of the old hits will ring out in her voice, and how much will be left for the new era? That's exactly the question the club crowd will settle on the spot.
