British DJ and producer Michael Gray headlines the "Dobar House Legends" party at Zagreb's Peti Kupe club on October 17. The night starts at 11 p.m., and also on the bill are Boris Seili, Dvornikova and Tom Bug.

Gray, born in 1966, is one half of the production and remix duo Full Intention. The duo broke through in 1994 with their remix of Duke's "So In Love With You", which reached the UK Top 20. Hundreds of remixes of other people's hits followed, but his solo career is defined by one song.

"The Weekend" came out on November 1, 2004, with vocals by the singer Shena. Gray started experimenting with a sample from Oliver Cheatham's disco classic "Get Down Saturday Night" and wrote a new melody around the line "I can't wait for the weekend to begin". The song hit number one on Australia's ARIA club chart, was licensed by labels such as Ultra and Kontor, and ended up in the record bags of the biggest DJs. Will he play it in Zagreb? Hard to imagine he won't.

Tickets cost 17 to 20 euros (about 1,047 to 1,232 denars), and some categories are already sold out. Sales are via entrio.hr. Peti Kupe is on Trnjanska cesta in Zagreb, Croatia.
