Bulgarian singer MONA presents her debut album "Zhiva" ("Alive") at a concert at Bar Petak in Sofia on October 8, 2026. The album is officially released a day later, on October 9, so the audience will hear the new songs before anyone else.

The date wasn't chosen by chance. Exactly two years ago, on the same stage, MONA held her first solo concert. "For me this date is becoming a second birthday, because that's when I was born as an artist," she says. The title track "Zhiva" came out as a single and drew more than half a million views on YouTube in a month.

"Zhiva" shows the singer's gentler and more vulnerable side: spiritual searching and the hardships of the road in music. The sound moves towards ethno-pop, with folk motifs, as her stage look with traditional jewellery also suggests. Beside her on stage will again be guitarist Ilin Papazyan, part of her band Monavision.

Tickets on bilet.bg come in three waves: 25, 30 and 35 euros, roughly 1,540 to 2,160 denars. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the concert starts at 9 p.m. The event is 18+.
