The symphonic concert "The Music of Hans Zimmer & Others" will take place at the Macedonian Philharmonic in Skopje on Sunday, May 31 at 20:00. The programme covers the most recognisable film scores of Hans Zimmer - twelve-time Oscar nominee - alongside other classics of contemporary film music.

Zimmer is the most celebrated film composer of his generation, with nearly 150 film scores to his name and two Oscars - for "The Lion King" and for "Dune." The concert setlist covers his biggest works: themes from "Gladiator," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "The Dark Knight," "Inception" and "Interstellar," plus more recent scores for "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Dune," where his sound earned him the Oscar for Best Original Score in 2022.

Beyond Zimmer, the orchestra will also play themes from "The Lion King," "James Bond," "Pearl Harbor," "The Da Vinci Code," "Superman" and "Spider-Man," along with music by John Williams and Hans Zimmer for the major 21st-century blockbusters. The concert includes a special guest - an actor from the cast of "Pirates of the Caribbean," according to the production team Lancelot Production.

Tickets range from 3,800 to 4,950 denars and are sold through karti.com.mk. The concert starts at 20:00 and follows immediately after "Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit - The Concert" earlier the same day at 17:00 in the same hall - a back-to-back film-music double bill that Skopje doesn't see very often.
