The concert "Musical Reflections" ("Muzikalni otrazheniya") for oboe and piano takes place on October 24, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the "Akademik Andrey Stoyanov" community centre in Sofia. Performing are oboist Simeon Gergov and pianist Aleksandar Ivanov.

The evening is a charity event: 50 percent of the proceeds are donated to the community centre for its cultural and musical work. This isn't just any chitalishte. It houses one of the oldest music schools in Bulgaria, founded in 1952, which still organises concerts, competitions and educational programmes today. The hall has a Blüthner concert grand and around 120 seats, a size that comes naturally to chamber music.

The programme moves through several musical worlds: the elegance of Mozart and Donizetti, the depth of Beethoven and Rachmaninoff, the passion of Astor Piazzolla and the virtuosity of Domenico Cimarosa. The "Musical Reflections" project aims to bring classical music closer to audiences, without the distance big halls often create.
