Natali Dizdar, one of the most refined Croatian pop singers, performs in Zagreb on July 9 at Garden Taproom as part of the summer programme. The singer, known for blending pop and a jazz sensibility, brings a concert to an intimate, summer setting.

Dizdar, born in Zadar in 1984, made her name as a finalist on the reality contest Story Supernova Music Talents in 2003. After the show she launched a solo career and signed with Croatia Records, building a repertoire grounded in pop-jazz and carefully worked-out musical elements. Her first single "Ne daj" became a radio hit as early as the Split Festival in 2004.

Her self-titled debut album from 2005 went gold in Croatia and established her as a performer with a recognisable voice and taste that sets her apart from the mainstream pop scene. For years Dizdar has been among the most respected Croatian songwriters, and her concerts have a warm, almost club-like atmosphere in which both the voice and the arrangements come into their own.
