New Jersey, the Italian acoustic tribute project dedicated to Bon Jovi, comes to Sofia on May 29, 2026. The show will take place at JOY Station, as part of their Balkan tour.
The duo has been active for more than a decade and is one of the most recognisable European Bon Jovi tribute projects. The band's name - New Jersey - comes from the original Bon Jovi's fourth album of 1988, one of the defining rock-and-roll releases of that era. The two musicians perform in an acoustic format, with guitars and vocals, and carry the spirit of the original hits without needing a full-band production.
The setlist usually covers all the big Bon Jovi hits - Livin' on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive, Always, Bed of Roses, It's My Life, Have a Nice Day - along with covers from the band's classic albums. The acoustic format offers an intimate perspective on songs that are usually known for their stadium scale. JOY Station is a club with a capacity of around 1,500 in the northern part of Sofia.
Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 32 leva. The concert starts at 21:00 on Friday, May 29, 2026. For Macedonian fans of Bon Jovi and the classic hard rock of the eighties and nineties, this is a good chance to catch an intimate tribute in the neighbourhood.
