Nina Badrić sings acoustic at the Ekata Estate amphitheatre near Krnjevo on September 20 at 21:00. Tickets start at around 3,160 denars.

Badrić was born in Zagreb in 1972 and started with music at nine years old, in the Zvjezdice children's choir. After seven years in the choir she moved into the studio singing backing vocals for Parni Valjak and Prljavo Kazalište, which means her craft was built from the inside out, from the studio towards the stage.

The debut album "Godine nestvarne" came out in 1995, and the very next one, "Personality" from 1997, became the best-selling record in Croatia two years running and won two Porin awards. The 2003 album "Ljubav" went gold and later platinum. Among her biggest hits are "Čarobno jutro", "Sreću duguješ meni" and "Takvi kao ti", the last of which has more than 27 million views on YouTube.

She competed four times at Dora, the Croatian Eurovision selection, and in 2012 represented Croatia at the contest with the song "Nebo". She did not reach the final, which did her no harm whatsoever with the home audience.

The acoustic format in an amphitheatre is a deliberate choice. Her voice is built for big ballads, and a set-up like this is precisely where there is least room to hide. Krnjevo sits on the Belgrade to Niš motorway. Tickets through tickets.rs.
