Ozric Tentacles, the British pioneers of psychedelic space rock, perform in Pula on July 24 on the Kotač open-air stage at DC Rojc. For lovers of instrumental and psychedelic music in the region this is a rare visit by a band with nearly forty years of cult history.

Formed in Somerset in 1983, Ozric Tentacles grew out of the British festival scene and became one of the most important names of the psychedelic and space-rock genre. Their music is largely instrumental - long, hypnotic compositions that blend rock, electronica, dub, jazz and ethno influences into a sound with few parallels. For decades they have operated outside the mainstream, but with a loyal audience around the world.

The Pula show is part of their 2026 tour, and the open-air format in the inner courtyard of the former Rojc barracks seems built for their long, layered sets. The audience should expect a musical journey rather than a classic song-based concert - Ozric Tentacles build an atmosphere that unfolds over hours.

Tickets are available via entrio.hr. The show is on July 24 at DC Rojc in Pula, starting in the evening hours.
