Peđa Jovanović at the Ancient Theatre in Ohrid on August 6 - an Exclusive Concert with a Symphony Orchestra

The Ancient Theatre in Ohrid gets an exclusive concert with a symphony orchestra on August 6 - Serbian singer Peđa Jovanović performs under open sky, starting at 8 p.m.

Jovanović is a story of a second career. Born in Stuttgart, with roots in Priboj, he was first a keyboardist - from 2012 to 2017 he played in the Lexington band, and before that he led the duo Blizanci (The Twins) with his twin brother. He started his own singing career late, urged on by the Lexington frontman, and got real momentum during the pandemic, when he recorded covers of other people's songs and gathered a new audience. He held his first solo concert in 2022 at the MTS Hall in Belgrade, and his debut solo album „24/7" came out in 2023.

The Ohrid concert isn't an ordinary stage gig - it's announced as a performance with a symphony orchestra, meaning orchestral arrangements instead of a standard band. On the stone stage of the Ancient Theatre, with the lake at his back, that format carries a weight a club show can't offer.

Tickets cost 1,000 denars and are available through kupikarta.com. The concert starts at 8 p.m. at the Ancient Theatre in Ohrid.
