Phillgood Festival, the new three-day festival from Bulgarian production house Fest Team, makes its premiere from July 17 to 19, 2026 at Greben Canal in Plovdiv. The lineup is one of the strongest ever pulled together at a single Balkan festival - The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby as headliners across the three nights, plus more bands to be announced.
The Cure, the British gothic rock legends fronted by Robert Smith, play Friday, July 17. The Crawley band - over 30 million records sold and hits like Friday Im in Love, Lovesong, Just Like Heaven and Boys Dont Cry - are one of the most recognisable figures on the British alternative scene. Their last album, Songs of a Lost World from 2024, earned an extraordinary critical and commercial response and became the band's first record to hit number one on the UK chart since 1992.
Gorillaz, the virtual band of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett (Blur), play Saturday, July 18. With 10 studio albums, shows famous for visual animation, and a long guest list (Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Lou Reed, Bobby Womack), Gorillaz are one of the most creative projects in contemporary popular music. On Sunday, July 19, Moby takes the stage - the American electronic pioneer whose 1999 album Play remains one of the most-played albums in history.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg. Greben Canal in Plovdiv is one of Bulgaria's biggest summer festival sites. Plovdiv is an easy car or bus trip from Skopje - about six hours. For Macedonian fans, this is the biggest neighbourhood festival event of 2026.
