Silvi Bend, one of the longest-running Macedonian pop groups, performs in Ohrid on July 24 at the Dolni Saraj stage. The group, which has been part of the Macedonian pop scene for more than three decades, brings an open-air concert to the heart of the Ohrid summer.
Silvi Bend is made up of the married couple Silvana Mučić Plevneš and Vlatko Plevneš, and they have endured on stage for over thirty years. They introduced themselves to the Macedonian audience in the early nineties and became especially popular with the Makfest hit "Angeli me nosat", which remains one of the recognisable songs of that era. Behind them is a trove of hits, numerous concerts and performances across the whole country and the region.
Beyond their pop performances, Silvi Bend is also known for their musical productions such as "Koštana" and "Romalen", which they perform successfully beyond Macedonia's borders too. That combination of pop hits and a theatrical musical form makes them a more versatile act than the average pop band.
Tickets cost 700 denars and are available via kupikarta.com. The concert is at Dolni Saraj in Ohrid, in the evening hours.
