Sivert Høyem, the Norwegian singer-songwriter and former frontman of the cult band Madrugada, performs in Zagreb on September 14. For lovers of deep, atmospheric rock this is a rare chance to see one of the most recognisable voices of the Scandinavian scene.
Høyem made his name as the vocalist of Madrugada, a Norwegian band formed in the nineties whose dark, cinematic rock gained cult status across Europe. His deep baritone and the melancholic atmosphere of the songs made them one of the most respected groups of the Scandinavian scene. After the band broke up, Høyem built a successful solo career that kept the same recognisable sound - stripped-down, intense and emotive.
As a solo artist, Høyem has released a series of albums that cemented his status as one of the most important European singer-songwriters of his generation. His concerts are known for an intimate, almost hypnotic atmosphere in which the voice and the lyrics take the foreground. The Zagreb show is part of his European tour for 2026.
Tickets are available via ulaznice.hr. The concert is in Zagreb, in the evening hours.
